Good News. Websites are now eligible for PIC Claims.

Great news! Websites are now officially approved for the IRAS PIC (Productivity and Innovation Credit) under the Prescribed List of PIC IT and Automation Equipment in 2014.

What this means for all business owners in Singapore is that whenever you engage a web development studio to create a new website or complete makeover of your current website, you will get 60% rebate from the government.

On top of that, if you have not exhausted the Dollar-for-Dollar bonus and spent more than $5,000 in this financial year, you get a total of 160% back. Do note that this is the last year for the Dollar-for-Dollar bonus payout though.

Imagine getting a new website for your business and even get paid doing so.

However, do not be tempted to go all generous and start signing up for packages you do NOT need. A lot of web development studios in Singapore are making the PIC sound like some Get Rich Quick scheme and start charging high prices with the promise of cash back.

Over at Studious Media, we always advise our clients to get only the services they really need and those that will benefit their business. Our approach ensures that we keep a good working relationship with our customers and they do not feel obliged or cheated when working with us.

See our works at www.studiousmedia.sg or send an enquiry to enquiry@studiousmedia.sg. We can advise you on the claim process too.
